Global War on Terrorism Veterans In Need

Sometimes we take our military and our veterans for granted because they seem to always have been a part
of Escambia and Santa Rosa Counties. As a community, we participate in various events and festivals that
create a lot of excitement, enthusiasm and fun, and one of the reasons we are able to do these things is
because of the freedoms that have been preserved by our military men and women.
With the global war on terrorism, our service members who wear the cloth of our country know the meaning
of sacrifice, honor, courage and commitment. By being a part of the fund raising effort or as a volunteer
or both, you can help show that our community values their service, sacrifice and commitment.
The goal of the GWT VIN committee is to honor and ensure quality support to severely injured service
members while fighting the global war on terrorism following the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001.
GTW VIN strives to raise community awareness by publicly embracing returning veterans.
GWT VIN, a committee of the Escambia County Veterans Roundtable,
is a Florida registered non profit organization committed to helping veterans of the Global War on Terror
and their families. As a volunteer staff, we are working to raise awareness, money and materials to provide
support to our returning severely disabled service members. With your help we can accomplish our mission.
Help spread the word.
